Wyoming Legion Baseball Scoreboard for May 11-17, 2026

Week 6 of the 2026 Wyoming Legion Baseball season slows down for a few teams. It is high school graduation time, which means Senior Legion squads might not be playing. The Cheyenne Sixers play a pair of conference doubleheaders this week. Now that every team has played a game, this week features mostly regional non-conference action on the diamond.

WYOPREPS WEEK 6 AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL SCHEDULE 2026

Games are sprinkled throughout the week. Saturday is the busiest day with nine doubleheaders on the slate. There is one 9-inning non-conference game between the Troopers and Riders rescheduled this week in Gillette. Cheyenne, Laramie, and Gillette will play opponents from South Dakota.

MONDAY, MAY 11:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 8 Rapid City Stevens Varsity 2 - The Riders used a 5-run 5th inning to break a 2-2 tie. Hecker had 2 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs. Wood added 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Gillette took advantage of 3 errors, 6 walks, and 5 stolen bases.

Final Score: Rapid City Stevens Varsity 7 Gillette Riders 2 - The Riders were held to 2 hits & 3 walks. Stevens scored 3 times in the 1st and never trailed.

TUESDAY, MAY 12:

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 6 Laramie Rangers 1 (conference game) - 2 runs in the 5th broke a 1-1 tie for Cheyenne. The Sixers added 3 more in the 7th. Hall had 3 hits & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 11 Laramie Rangers 1 (conference game) - Laramie held a 1-0 lead, but Cheyenne scored the last 11 runs. They broke it open with 4 in the 3rd and closed it out with 4 more in the 6th. Kamarad had 2 hits, 2 RBIs, 2 stolen bases, & 3 runs scored. Hauf added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 13 Spearfish Spartans JV 0 - A 9-run 4th helped the Rustlers close it out early. Schrock fired a 1-hit shutout with 5 Ks and 2 walks. Hamilton had 2 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 11 Spearfish Spartans JV 4 - Gillette scored 4 runs in each of the first 2 innings. Lawson had 2 hits & 3 RBIs. Schrock added 3 hits (2-2B), 3 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 13:

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 17 Cheyenne Eagles 10 (9-inning game) - Down 10-9, the Tigers scored 8 runs in the 8th inning to pull out the win. Drew Kramer hit 2 doubles, 2 home runs, and finished with 7 RBIs. Stienmetz added 2 hits & 4 RBIs. The Eagles took advantage of 9 walks and 5 errors.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Expos 9 Gillette Rustlers 2 - The Expos scored 5 runs in the 1st to take control.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 22 Gillette Riders 5 - Post 22 scored 2 or more runs in 5 different innings. Wood had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for Gillette.

THURSDAY, MAY 14:

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 8 Laramie JV Rangers 0 (conference game) - Kian McDonough tossed a 2-hit shutout with 7 strikeouts. A 5-run 5th helped the Sixers pull away. King had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. K. Tafoya added 3 hits & drove in 1 run.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 12 Laramie JV Rangers 2 (conference game) - Cheyenne scored 6 runs in the 1st and 5 more in the 3rd. Nuland led the Sixers with 2 hits & 4 RBIs. Maggard & Hassler added 2 hits & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 12 Gillette Riders 4 - The Troopers used a 7-run 6th inning to pull away. Hamrick had 3 hits & 3 RBIs. Greer & DeStefano combined to allow 4 runs, 2 earned, on 3 hits with 12 Ks. Sheridan capitalized on 7 stolen bases, 8 walks, and 3 errors.

FRIDAY, MAY 15:

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 19 Lander Legends 6 - After the Legends scored 2 in the 1st, Riverton answered with 5 runs. They pulled away with 8 runs in the 5th. Yeates had 2 hits & drove in 4 runs. Trujillo added 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Kramer led Lander with 2 hits & 1 RBI. Eagle contributed 2 RBIs.

SATURDAY, MAY 16:

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 8 Douglas Cats 4 - The Hawks used a 4-run 2nd inning and a 3-run 5th to get the win. Nelson and Wenzel had 2 hits & 2 RBIs each for Cheyenne.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 10 Douglas Cats 2 - A 6-run 4th inning propelled the Hawks to the sweep. Jording had 2 hits and 4 RBIs, while Aragon added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Casper Wildcatters 16 Laramie Rangers 15 (9 inns.) - An error led to the go-ahead run for Casper. Porter had 2 hits & 6 RBIs for the Wildcatters. Hummel added 5 RBIs. 

Final Score: Laramie Rangers 14 Casper Wildcatters 5 - Laramie took the lead with 6 runs in the 2nd inning and pulled away with 8 runs in their last 2 at-bats. McLean had 3 hits & RBIs. Gill added 3 hits & drove in 2 for the Rangers.

Final Score: Rock Springs Stallions 7 Jackson Giants 5 - A 6-run 6th inning helped the Stallions rally for the victory. Valerio & Latham had 2 hits & 1 RBI each. Jackson got 2 hits & 2 RBIs from Peterman.

Final Score: Jackson Giants 10 Rock Springs Stallions 2 - The Giants scored 9 runs in the last 2 innings and rallied for the road split. Menke had 3 hits & 2 RBIs. That included one home run. Moore added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 8 Lovell Mustangs 0 - Diaz tossed a 4-hit shutout with 9 Ks. Teten had 2 hits & 1 RBI, while Bieber added 2 RBIs. Powell scored 6 in the 7th to pull away.

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 2 Lovell Mustangs 0 - Gates allowed just 3 hits with 5 Ks for Powell. Loera and Bieber had RBI hits in the 3rd inning.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 7 Glendive (MT) Blue Devils 4 - A 3-run 6th propelled Cody to the win. Hartley had 3 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 5 Glendive Blue Devils 2 - In a 2-2 game, the Cubs scored 1 in the 6th and 2 more in the 7th to pull out the road sweep. The go-ahead run scored on an error. Two more errors in the 7th led to the last two runs. G. Machen and Sitz had the RBIs for Cody.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 11 Laramie JV Rangers 1 - RC scored in all 4 of their at-bats. Laramie was held to 6 hits. Navarette had 1 hit & drove in 1 run.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 13 Laramie JV Rangers 3 - Trailing 2-1, the Shooters scored 11 in the 2nd to take control. Aguilar had an RBI double for Laramie.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Stars 10 Cheyenne Sixers 8 (8 inns.) - The Stars scored 2 in the top of the 8th on a triple and a double to win it. Hauf had 2 hits & drove in 3 for the Sixers in the loss.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 6 Rapid City Post 320 Stars 1 - The Sixers used a 4-run 4th to propel themselves to the victory. Hall and King combined for 4 hits & 4 RBIs for Cheyenne.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 8 Rapid City Post 320 Stars 2 - Cheyenne scored in the first 5 innings. K. Tafoya and Nuland had 1 hit & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 18 Laramie JV Rangers 3 = The Shooters scored 8 runs in the 1st to take control. Laramie JV was no-hit in the game.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 16 Douglas Cats 8 - The Drillers jumped out to a 6-0 lead and kept holding off the Cats. Hartl had 3 hits (2B) & 2 RBIs. Hicks contributed 2 triples & 2 RBIs. Siemens added 2 hits & drove in 3 for Casper.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 15 Douglas Cats 2 - The Drillers broke it open with 7 runs in the 2nd and capped it with 6 more in the 6th. They took advantage of 9 walks & 6 errors. Siemens & Hartl had 1 hit & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 8 Cody Cubs 0 - 4 Sheridan pitchers combined on a 2-hit shutout with 9 Ks. A 4-run 6th punctuated the Troopers' win. Hamrick had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 11 Cody Cubs 10 - The Troopers scored in every innings, as they built an 11-4 lead. The Cubs rallied with 6 in the 7th but fell just short. B. Phillips homered as part of 2 hits & 3 RBIs. Hamerick added 2 hits & drove in 2. Sitz had 3 hits & 3 RBIs for Cody.
