The Class 1A boys' basketball season concludes in Casper with day two of the state tournament.

WyoPreps is summarizing the action that happens at Casper College and the Ford Wyoming Center. Of note, the championship game will be featured in a separate story.

Game 12: Southeast 61 Dubois 55 (3rd place game)

The Southeast Cyclones were able to beat the Dubois Rams for third place at the state tournament in Casper.

There were only three lead changes in the game and Southeast had as big of a 13 point lead in the game.

The Cyclones had three players score in the double digits to help lead their team to victory.

Hayden Anderson was the leading scorer for Southeast with 18 points. Sawyer Anderson followed him with 14 points and Cord Herring scored 13 points for the team.

Southeast won the turnover and rebounding battle. The Cyclones forced the Rams to turnover the ball 23 times. Southeast also grabbed a total of 35 rebounds five more than the Dubois was able to grab.

Dubois did not go down easy though. The Rams hit nine three points for the game.

Jaryd Wells scored six three points and a total of 27 points for the game. Ryan Wells also put together 19 points for the Rams in the losing effort.

The Cyclones finish in third place at the state tournament.

Game 10: Farson-Eden 59 Burlington 33 (Consolation title game)

The Farson-Eden Pronghorns were able to beat the Burlington Huskies in the consolation title game on Thursday night.

Colby Jones led the way in points for Farson with 17 points. Jones also added six total rebounds and four total assists in the win.

Parker Clawson also added 14 points and six total rebounds for the Pronghorns

Farson-Eden outrebounded Burlington 40-31 in the game. The Pronghorns were also able to hit 11 free-throws in the game.

The leading scorer for Burlington was Ryan McNiven with 11 points. Kody Gotfredson also put together eight points and 11 total rebounds in the loss.

Game 8: Burlington 52 Kaycee 46 (consolation)

The Burlington Huskies outlasted the Kaycee Buckaroos, 52-46, to make the 1A boys' consolation title game at the state tournament in Casper on Thursday.

The Huskies got off to a great start and led 18-8 at the end of the first quarter. Kaycee scored the last five nine points of the first half and trimmed it to, 24-19. The Buckaroos traded the lead in the third quarter with Burlington and held a 32-31 lead entering the final period. The Huskies offense got going again and outscored Kaycee, 21-14, for the six-point win.

Ryan McNiven and Eric Davidson scored 10 points apiece to pace Burlington. The Huskies shot just 33 percent and overcame 33 turnovers.

Harley Davis had 16 points to lead Kaycee. The Buckaroos shot 35 percent in the game, but they had only one 3-pointer compared to six for Burlington.

The Huskies advance to play Farson-Eden in the consolation championship at 5 p.m. at Casper College.

Game 9: Farson-Eden 77 Guernsey-Sunrise 49 (consolation)

Colby Jones and Trevor Jones combined for 44 points to lead the Farson-Eden Pronghorns past Guernsey-Sunrise, 77-49, on Thursday in Casper.

Farson jumped out to a 16-5 lead after the first quarter and never trailed. The Vikings tried to rally in the second and closed within 34-24 by halftime. It was all Pronghorns in the third, as they put 23 points on the board and held Guernsey-Sunrise to four points. The lead ballooned to 33 points in the fourth quarter.

Colby Jones scored 24, while Trevor Jones added 20 points to lead Farson-Eden. They shot 48 percent for the game and took advantage of 25 Guernsey turnovers. The Pronghorns out-rebounded the Vikings 44-24.

Guernsey-Sunrise was paced by Justin Malcom with 14 points.

The Pronghorns will play Burlington at 5 p.m. in the 1A boys' consolation title contest. at Casper College.
