2013 Spring Rodeo Season – Week 3

The season continues with better weather on the horizon, and action remains out west.

Cowboys and cowgirls head to Big Piney for the next round of competition.

Below are the winners of the Rock Springs rodeo.

Saturday winners listed first, then Sunday winners.

Bareback: Justin Kissack (Gillette) won both days.

Barrel Racing: Sierra Spratt (Lysite) and Cassidy Kruse (Gillette)

Breakaway Roping: Justene Hirsig (Cheyenne) won both days.

Bull Riding: Scott Carlson (Evanston) and no Sunday winner.

Goat Tying: Shai Schaefer (Torrington) and Cashlee Cunningham (Banner)

Pole Bending: Breanna Reimler (Buffalo) won both days.

Saddle Broncs: Brody Cress (Hillsdale) and J.W. Meiers (Mills)

Steer Wrestling: Casey Sellers (Buffalo) won both days.

Team Roping Saturday: Weston Mann (Sheridan) and Cameron Irwin (Buffalo)

Team Roping Sunday: Garrett Grieve (Baggs) and Coley Nicholls (Kinnear)

Tie-Down Calf Roping: Cameron Irwin (Buffalo) and Garrett Murphy (Torrington)

The top 4 in each event at the end of the season are invited to compete at the High School National Finals Rodeo, to be held in Rock Springs in July.
