2013 Spring Rodeo Season – Week 4

Rodeo action moves from the southwest part of the state, to the northeast, as Newcastle will host this weekend's action.

Below are the winners of the Big Piney rodeo.

Saturday winners listed first, then Sunday winners.

Bareback: Jeffery Zdziarski (Sheridan) and Justin Kissack (Gillette)

Barrel Racing: Cassidy Kruse (Gillette) won both days.

Breakaway Roping: Casey Rae Reimler (Rozet) and Deena Norell (Meeker, CO)

Bull Riding: Hunter Eller (Wheatland) and Scott Carlson (Evanston)

Goat Tying: Ashten Marchant (Newcastle) and Shai Schaefer (Torrington)

Pole Bending: Breanna Reimler (Buffalo) won both days.

Saddle Broncs: No Saturday winner and Blaze Cress (Hillsdale)

Steer Wrestling: Cutter DeHart (Laramie) and Kade Greer (Gillette)

Team Roping Saturday: Justene Hirsig (Cheyenne) and Denton Shaw (Lusk)

Team Roping Sunday: Trace Steele (Sundance) and Jhett Hadley (Wheatland)

Tie-Down Calf Roping: Casey Sellers (Buffalo) won both days.

The top 4 in each event at the end of the season are invited to compete at the High School National Finals Rodeo, to be held in Rock Springs in July.
