2014 Spring Rodeo Season – Week 2

Cowboys and cowgirls will test out Rock Springs this weekend...the site of the National High School Finals Rodeo.

Barebacks: Hunter Carlson (Douglas) and Jeffery Zdziarski (Sheridan)

Barrel Racing: Shyann Russell (Gillette) and Breanna Reimler (Buffalo)

Breakaway Roping: Callie Robinson (Moorcroft) won both days.

Goat Tying: Saije Pollard (Wyarno) and Jaime Thompson (Whitney, NE)

Pole Bending: Chloe Ashenhurst (Wheatland) won both days.

Saddle Broncs: Brody Cress (Hillsdale) and Mike Burtenshaw (Buffalo)

Steer Wrestling: Dax Cathcart (Carpenter) and Teigen Finnerty (Wheatland)

Team Roping Saturday: Nate Rogers (Buffalo) and Joby Barquin (Kinnear)

Team Roping Sunday: Logan Milligan (Torrington) and Riley Curuchet (Kaycee)

Tie-Down Roping: Brandt Ross (Sheridan) and Brady Thurston (Lance Creek)

Bull Riding: No Saturday winner and Evan Wilhelm (Glendo)

The top 4 in each event at the end of the season, are invited to compete at the High School National Finals Rodeo, to be held in Rock Springs in July, 2014.
