2017 Nike National Cross Country National Meet

Three Wyoming High School Girls Cross Country runners placed in the top 25 at the national meet.

Freshman Sydney Thorvaldson of Rawlins placed 9th, Junior MacKenzie Marler of Cheyenne East placed 22nd, and Senior Aubrey Frentheway of Cheyenne Central placed 25th, at the 2017 Nike Cross Country National Meet held in Portland, Oregon.

Thorvaldson, the 2017 Wyoming Girls Cross Country 3A State Champ, turned in a time of 17 minutes 58.7 seconds.

Marler, the 2017 Wyoming Girls Cross County 4A State Champ, had a time of 18:13.3, and Frentheway, the 2017 Wyoming Girls Cross County 4A State Runner-Up, had a time of 18:16.8.
