Its been a nice three year run for the Lusk girls basketball team going 58-27 in that time frame. This past season, Lusk was a #3 seed entering the 2A state tournament in Casper and posted a win in the quarterfinal round over Rocky Mountain 33-29. The Tigers overcame a rough first half in terms of shooting the basketball but ended up getting 13 points from all-state player Courtney Rowley and 8 points from Jozalyn Potter.

In the 2A semi-finals,  Lusk had their hands full with a talented Pine Bluffs team and lost 63-27. The Tigers really struggled from the field so that was unusual for them. Rowley had 11 points while Riley Shaw and Jozalyn Potter had 5 each.

The Tigers were far more competitive in the 3rd plate game even though they lost to Moorcroft 49-47. Lusk reeled off the first 14 points of the game and got 14 points from Anna Richardson and 12 from Rowley. They finished the year 18-10 with Shaw, Potter, and Richardson earning all-conference status.
