With a 3rd place finish at the 2A State Tournament and 21 wins, the Moorcroft girls basketball team had the best season in the history of the school. They entered the state tourney as the #2 seed from the east and won their quarterfinal round game over Riverside 50-36. The Wolves were just 6-29 from the 3 point line but also made 18 free throws out of 32 attempts. Lizzie Peterson,Kaylei Petz, and RiLee Bonaguidi each had 9 for Moorcroft while Kailee Gill and Talissa Fischbach had 8 each.

In the 2A semi-finals, Moorcroft took on eventual state champion Wyoming Indian and it was a tough loss for the Wolves with the Chiefs coming away with a 51-24 win. Bonaguido had 8 with Peterson and Talissa Fischbach with 5 each. So the Wolves had a chance to finish 3rd at state and finished the season with a 49-47 win over Lusk thanks to a 20 point 4th quarter. Kaylei Petx had 14 to lead Moorcroft while Bonoguidi added 13 and Kyanna Petz chipped in 10.

Kaylei Petz was named all state in 2A with Bonaguidi and Kyanna Petz earning all-conference distinction. Kaylei Petz, Bonoguidi, and Peterson were all senior so there is going to be some rebuilding for next year.
