The Glenrock boys team didn't enjoy a great regular season but when it came time to win one game in order to qualify for the state tournament, they did just that. The Herders knocked off Lusk 52-51 in the first round order to punch their ticket to Casper. That was, by far the biggest win of the season and the Herders ended up as a #4 seed at state.

Their opening-round opponent in Casper was the eventual champion, Rocky Mountain. The Grizzlies were a tough outfit and Glenrock lost 72-50. The Herders did have 3 players in double figures in that contest; Cody Piasecki had 14 with Adam Bearfield and Terrin Fauber chipping in 11 each.

In the consolation round, Glenrock met Wind River and the Herders season came to an end with a 76-57 defeat. Fauber had a great game with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Kyle Hiser had a great game with 20 points and on 8-19 from the field. Glenrock finished the year 4-19 but a state tournament appearance is a state tournament appearance.

Senior Adam Bearfield made the all-conference list as he averaged 7 points per game. Terrin Fauber threw in 9 per game and was an all-conference pick as well. Kyle Hiser averaged 8 a game so Fauber and Hiser will be a solid foundation for the 2021-22 team. Check out of short video of the Herders at the state tournament. Enjoy!
