The Rawlins Outlaws have enjoyed some very successful seasons over the past few years with talented players leading the way. The Outlaws won the 3A East regional tournament and that gave them a #1 seed heading into the state tournament. But their fortunes turned quickly as they lost their first-round game to Mountain View 64-62. 15 of those points came from the free-throw line and the Outlaws were led in scoring by Ashton Barto with 17 points with Colton Ice throwing in 16. Two other players were in double figures, Michael Allard with 13 and Eli Kern with 11.

Rawlins was eliminated from the state tournament after a 48-40 loss to Lyman in the consolation round. The Outlaws shot just 22% from the field in the first half and Barto was the team's leading scorer with 13 and Allard had 11. Rawlins wrapped up the year at 13-7.

Barto was named an all-state performer in 3A with an average of 14 points per game. Allard was named all-conference at 13 a contest and he was among just 3 seniors on the tea, Barto will lead a senior-heavy team in 2020-21 so this group will be interesting to watch. We do have a short video to share with you on this team. Enjoy!
