The Saratoga boys turned in another fantastic season but fell one win short of winning their 2nd straight 1A championship. This team was loaded with talent as Teegan Love was an all-state selection after averaging 18 points a game. Gavin Bartlett threw in 8 points a game and he was an all-state pick as well. Grady Bartlett and Noah Rimmer were designated all-conference so this was a well-rounded team.

In the first round of the 1A State Tournament, the Panthers defeated Guernsey 68-33 as Love tallied 20 points. In the semi-final round, Saratoga outlasted Southeast 44-33 with Love throwing in 14 and Gavin Bartlett chipping in 13. In the 1A championship game, the Panthers ran into a buzzsaw in the Upton Bobcats and were defeated 69-54. Love led the way again with 21 with Gavin Bartlett and Noah Rimmer contributing 13 each. The Panther's season came to an end at 19-3.

Love, Rimmer and Gavin Bartlett were seniors so that's a lot of firepower to replace for the 2021-22 season. The roster is expected to have 5 juniors and 2 seniors for the upcoming year. Check out our short video of the Panthers at the State Tournament in Casper
