2023 Wyoming Legion Baseball All-Star Game and Home Run Derby is This Weekend
For the third consecutive year, the Single-A All-Star Game will be in Douglas on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023.
It’s the last hurrah for the summer legion baseball season for those not involved in postseason action.
All but four teams from Wyoming American Legion Baseball A teams will have a player representing them. State champion Powell is playing at the Northwest Class-A Regional Tournament (NWCART) in Havre, MT. Lander, Rawlins, and Sheridan are the other teams without a player in the game.
Players were invited if they were selected First-Team All-Conference for Single-A Legion Baseball in Wyoming. The players had the option to play or not.
There is a home run derby on Friday night at 7 p.m. The all-star game will be at noon on Saturday. Both events are at Nida Field in Douglas.
