PhotoFest! State Volleyball 3rd & 4th Place Matches

Let's take a quick look back at the State Volleyball Tournament. While all the teams are shooting for the elusive state title, only four of 32 will achieve that honor. Before the state championship matches, the third-place matches were held, and these were meaningful matches. Squads want to end the season on a high note, and third place is not a bad place to be, considering the competition at State and a long regular season.

In 4A, Sheridan took third with a straight-set win over Thunder Basin, Powell took the bronze medal in 3A, beating Wheatland in three straight, Sundance defeated Pine Bluffs in four sets for third place in 2A, and Southeast completed a reverse sweep of Upton in five sets for third place in 1A.
