Wyoming High School Golf Scoreboard for September 8-12, 2026

It’s a combination of championship week and regular-season invites during Week 5 of the Wyoming prep golf season. Class 3A holds its conference events in Evanston and Douglas. Class 4A has its state qualifiers and league championships in Gillette and Riverton. Class 2A teams continue with the regular season. Wright hosts a two-day invite for most of the 2A teams, while a dual competition in Evanston will include the other two Class 2A squads.

WYOPREPS WEEK 5 HIGH SCHOOL GOLF SCHEDULE IN 2026

This is the Week 5 schedule for the high school golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com. We will post results below each event.

Tuesday, Sept. 8:

3A West Conference Championship (hosted by Lyman) – at Purple Sage G.C., in Evanston, 9 a.m. – Lander, Lovell, Lyman, Powell, Rawlins, Worland.

Kenley Wilson from Lovell and Cody Fisher from Powell hold the clubhouse lead after the first round.

Girls Team Standings = Powell 311, Worland 330, Lander 339.

Boys Team Standings = Lander 313, Powell 332, Lovell 358, Lyman 374, Worland 376, Rawlins 380.

Wednesday, Sept. 9:

3A East Conference Championship (hosted by Glenrock) – at Douglas C.C., 10 a.m. – Buffalo, Douglas, Glenrock, Newcastle, Tongue River, Torrington, Wheatland.

Addison Bettinger from Buffalo and Tate Nichols from Wheatland held the lead after Day 1. Wheatland led both team standings.

3A West Conference Championship (hosted by Lyman) – at Purple Sage G.C. in Evanston, 8 a.m. – Lander, Lovell, Lyman, Powell, Rawlins, Worland.

Kenley Wilson from Lovell pulled out a 3-shot victory in the girls' division. Cody Fisher from Powell was the boys' medalist by 7 shots. The Powell girls and Lander boys won the team championship.

4A East Conference Championships/State Qualifier – at Bell Knob G.C. in Gillette, 8 a.m. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Bella Beach from Central and Jaxon Burr from Campbell County have the clubhouse lead. The Thunder Basin girls and Kelly Walsh boys led the team standings after round one.

Thursday, Sept. 10:

3A East Conference Championship (hosted by Glenrock) – at Douglas C.C., 10 a.m. – Buffalo, Douglas, Glenrock, Newcastle, Tongue River, Torrington, Wheatland.

Addison Bettinger of Buffalo pulled away to win in the girls' division by 11 strokes. Tate Nichols of Wheatland fought off his teammate to win the boys' title by 4 shots. Wheatland won both team championships.

4A East Conference Championships/State Qualifier – at Bell Knob G.C. in Gillette, 9 a.m. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Bella Beach of Cheyenne Central won the girls' division by 13 shots. Jaxon Burr of Campbell County won the boys' division by 6 shots. The Thunder Basin girls and Kelly Walsh boys won the conference team crowns.

4A West Conference Championships/State Qualifier – at Riverton C.C., noon – Cody, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Natrona County, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Cody's Eliana Hopkin and Star Valley's Deegan Hill hold the clubhouse lead after round one. The Star Valley and Evanston girls are tied for first, while Riverton leads the boys' team standings.

Friday, Sept. 11:

4A West Conference Championships/State Qualifier – at Riverton C.C., 9 a.m. – Cody, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Natrona County, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Cody's Eliana Hopkin won the girls' division by 18 strokes. Riverton's Brodey Taylor rallied for a 5-shot victory in the boys' division. The Star Valley girls and Riverton boys captured the team titles.

Thermopolis vs. Kemmerer – dual at Purple Sage G.C. in Evanston, 9 a.m.

Wright Invitational – at Hay Creek G.C. at 11 a.m. – Big Horn, Greybull/Riverside, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Sundance, Upton, Wright.

Makinli Mowery from Greybull/Riverside and Hudson Leimser from Lusk hold the clubhouse lead after the first round. The Sundance girls and Wright boys lead the team standings.

Saturday, Sept. 12:

Wright Invitational – at Hay Creek G.C. at 11 a.m. – Big Horn, Greybull/Riverside, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Sundance, Upton, Wright.

Greybull/Riverside's Makinli Mowery won the girls' division by 12 shots, and Wright's Colton Gerler won the boys' division on his home course by 2 shots. The Sundance girls and Wright boys won the team titles.
