Wyoming High School Golf Scoreboard for August 24-28, 2026

Most golf programs have had multiple chances to play in the 2026 season. It’s Week 3, and six events are on the calendar. Hulett and Rawlins open the week. Three 4A teams in the northeast play one day at Devils Tower and another at Sheridan in a match play event. Rawlins has a Monday-Tuesday invite. Cheyenne, Cody, and Pinedale will host on Thursday and Friday. Tongue River has its home event in Sheridan on Friday.

WYOPREPS 2026 HIGH SCHOOL GOLF SCHEDULE WEEK 3

This is the Week 3 schedule for the high school golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com. We will post results below each event.

Monday, Aug. 24:

Devils Tower Match Play - at the Golf Club at Devils Tower, 7:30 a.m. – Campbell County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

After Day 1, Sheridan leads with 2.5 team points, while Campbell County has 2 team points, and Thunder Basin has 1.5. They finish on Thursday in Sheridan.

Rawlins Invite – at Rochelle Ranch G.C., 11 a.m. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Glenrock, Green River, Natrona County, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Wheatland.

Haylie Nelson and Tate Nichols from Wheatland hold the clubhouse lead after 18 holes. Wheatland also tops both team standings.

Tuesday, Aug. 25:

Rawlins Invite – at Rochelle Ranch G.C., 9 a.m. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Glenrock, Green River, Natrona County, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Wheatland.

Haylie Nelson and Tate Nichols from Wheatland won the medalist honors. Nelson won the girls' division by 20 shots. Nichols captured the boys' division by 5 shots. Wheatland swept the team titles in comfortable fashion.

Thursday, Aug. 27:

Cheyenne Invite – at Airport C.C., 9 a.m. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Riverton, Torrington, Wheatland.

No results were reported.

Cody Invite – at Olive Glenn G.C., 10 a.m. – Buffalo, Cody, Douglas, Greybull/Riverside, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Worland.

Ruth Needham from Thermopolis and Bryson Kolb from Buffalo had the clubhouse lead after the first day. The Cody girls and Riverton boys led the team standings.

Pinedale Invite (hosted by Star Valley) – at Rendezvous Meadows G.C., 11 a.m. – Evanston, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Star Valley.

Kemmerer's Tazlyn Wagner and Trevan Benson had the clubhouse lead after the first day. The Evanston girls and Star Valley boys topped the team standings.

Sheridan Match Play - at Kendrick G.C., 10 a.m. – Campbell County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Final Scores = Sheridan 4.5 points, Thunder Basin 4.5 points, Campbell County 3.5 points - Broncs and Bolts tie! They played best ball for 9 holes, and alternate shot for the other 9. No tiebreaker was available.

Friday, Aug. 28:

Cheyenne Invite – at Airport C.C., 9 a.m. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Riverton, Torrington, Wheatland.

Bella Beach from Central won the girls' division by 19 shots. Jaxson Bratton from NC took 1st in the boys' division by 5 shots. The Central Red girls and Natrona County boys won the team crowns.

Cody Invite – at Olive Glenn G.C., 9 a.m. – Buffalo, Cody, Douglas, Greybull/Riverside, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Worland.

Addie Bettinger from Buffalo was the girls' medalist by 2 strokes. Cade Kistling of Riverton was the boys' medalist by 9 shots. The Cody girls and Riverton boys topped the team standings.

Pinedale Invite (hosted by Star Valley) – at Rendezvous Meadows G.C., 9 a.m. – Evanston, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Star Valley.

Kemmerer's Tazlyn Wagner and Trevan Benson finished in first place individually. The Evanston girls and Star Valley boys were 1st in the team standings.

Kendrick Invite (hosted by TR and BH) – at Kendrick G.C. in Sheridan – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sheridan JV, Sundance, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

Tongue River's Talitha Winfrey and Easton Lewis were the winners.
