Wind River rallied from down 9 in the 4th quarter to force overtime, and made a key 3 and a couple of free throws down the stretch, to stun the previously undefeated and defending champ Pine Bluffs.

The Hornets had won 50 games in a row which tied the state record.

Jayin Trumble had a double-double for Wind River with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Jarick Trumble scored 13,  Dalton Finley added 11 and Taylor Tidzump contributed with 10 for the Cougars.

The Hornets were led by Univ. of Wyoming bound Hunter Thompson who scored 30 points and had 12 rebounds.

Haize Fornstrom of PB poured in 27 of his own.
