3A Girls Basketball State Championship: Star Valley Tops Worland To Avenge Last Year’s Championship Loss

The championship trophy wasn't the only motivating factor.

Savannah Lucero made one of 2 free throws with 4 seconds remaining, as Star Valley would defeat Worland 44-43, to claim their first title since 2013, and avenge last year's loss.

The Lady Braves were led by Rylee Burmester with 11 points, Olivia Muir with 10 points and Shania Warren with 12 rebounds.

Lyndzi Rich had a double-double for Worland (16 points, 10 rebounds).
