The alpine ski season made a stop at Hogadon Basin on Casper Mountain for the Bruce Studer/ Kelly Walsh Invite on Friday and Saturday. In the giant slalom event, the girl's individual winner was Sidney Nash from Jackson with a two-run time of 1.06.51. Maddie Burnett of Kelly Walsh placed 2nd with a time of 1.10.12 with Sylar White of Jackson 3rd in 1.11.12

On the boy's side of the giant slalom, Jackson went 1-2 with Charlie Hoelscher taking the gold and Eddie Owens the silver, Hoelscher had a two-run clocking of 1.04.9 with Owens checking in at 1.06.46 Jack Canepa of Natrona took the bronze in 1.07.65.

In the girl's slalom race. Taylor Smith of Jackson won that in 1.25.99 over the course of two runs. Natrona's Elena Galles was 2nd in 1.38.69 with Brynn Crabtree of Jackson 3rd with a two-run time of 1.40.04. For the guys in the slalom event, Charlie Hoelscher made it a sweep of the weekend with a victory in 1.26.33. His winning margin wasn't very much as the 2nd place finisher, Buckeye Milligan from Jackson came in at 1;26.9. The Broncs swept the podium with Tate Ellingson placing 3rd in 1.29.6.

In the girl's team standings, Jackson was 1st with 143, Kelly Walsh 2nd with 70, and Cody 3rd with 59. The Jackson boys win the team title with 117 points, Cody 2nd with 86, and Natrona 3rd with 62.

The Cody Invitational is next on the alpine skiing schedule but that will be held on Casper Mountain on Friday and Saturday
