The Cheyenne Sixers continued their dominance over 'AA' American Legion Baseball in Wyoming with their 21st title in the last 24 seasons last Friday in Casper. The Sixers lost the first championship game, 3-2, to the Gillette Roughriders, but they responded in a big way with a 14-0 win in the second title game.

WyoPreps spoke to 'AA' State Tournament MVP Braden Pearson, Caden Westby, Hayden Swaen, and interim manager Gary Harley after their latest triumph.

Cheyenne moves on to the Northwest Regional Tournament in Billings, MT. The Sixers will play the Eugene (OR) Challengers in the first game on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. The tournament site is Dehler Park in Billings.
