It might be hard to believe, but Week 5 of the 2025 Wyoming American Legion Baseball season means we reach the second month of the season. The Green River Knights make their debut, which leaves only one team left that has not played yet. A lot of the action is in the state, but a few teams will play in Montana, Nebraska, or South Dakota. The weekend continues to feature the most action.

MONDAY, APRIL 28:

Final Score: Rock Springs Stallions 12 Green River Knights 10 - the Stallions led 7-0 and held off the Knights' comeback. Valerio had 1 hit & 3 RBIs. RS took advantage of 13 walks & 6 hit batters.

TUESDAY, APRIL 29:

Final Score: Rock Springs Stallions 8 Evanston Outlaws 7 - a 4-run 5th put the Stallions in front, and they held off the Outlaws' rally. Oliver had 3 hits (3B) and 2 RBIs for RS. Wilson had 2 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs for Evanston.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 15 Sturgis Scoopers 1 - with a 3-1 lead, the Riders scored 12 runs in the 3rd and 4th innings. Hecker had 3 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs, and Craig added 1 hit & 3 RBIs.

THURSDAY, MAY 1:

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 6 Lovell Mustangs 5 - the Pioneers scored in four frames and held off the Mustangs. Diaz had 3 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs. His 2-run triple put Powell up 6-3, and they held on. Jackson had 3 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs for Lovell.

Final Score: Lovell Mustangs 8 Powell Pioneers 5 - the Mustangs got the split after a 4-0 lead early on. A 3-run 5th pushed their lead to 7-3. Morgan had 2 hits & 1 RBI. Lovell took advantage of 5 walks & 4 errors.

FRIDAY, MAY 2:

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 12 Spearfish Spartans JV 4 (9-inning game) - the Rustlers scored 9 runs over their last five at-bats. Percifield had 3 hits & 2 RBIs. Wood added 1 hit & drove in 4 runs.

Final Score: Lovell Mustangs 9 Lockwood, MT 1 (9-inning game) - the Mustangs scored 2 runs over the first 3 innings. Jackson & Owens combined for 8 innings of shutout ball on the mound. Jackson struck out 11. Hedges had 3 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs, and Edwards added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

SATURDAY, MAY 3:

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 10 Laramie Rangers AA 0 - 3 pitchers combined on a no-hitter for the Sixers with 13 strikeouts and one walk. Pearson had 2 hits & 4 RBIs for Cheyenne at the plate. The Sixers also had 10 stolen bases.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 11 Laramie Rangers AA 1 - the Sixers scored 6 runs in the 3rd and finished it off in the sixth inning. Cotton had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Pacheco added 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 9 Casper Oilers 5 - the Troopers used a 7-run 2nd inning to take control. Phillips had 3 hits & 3 RBIs. Sheridan finished with 6 extra-base hits.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 11 Sheridan Troopers 1 - the Oilers got the split. They scored 9 runs over a 3-inning stretch. Deveraux homered and drove in 5 runs for Casper. Hagar added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 13 Lewistown (MT) Redbirds 9 - the Cubs rallied with 7 runs in the 6th inning. McAlmond's 2-run single gave Cody the lead for good. T. Bailey had 2 hits & 2 RBIs, while M. Bailey had 3 hits & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 19 Lewistown (MT) Redbirds 15 - Cody jumped out 15-6 and then scored the last 4 runs after it was tied at 15-15. McCarten had 3 hits & 2 RBIs. M. Bailey added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Evanston Outlaws 12 Laramie Rangers A 11 - the Outlaws scored 3 in the 6th and rallied to edge Laramie's A squad. Rich had 3 hits & 2 RBIs for Evanston. Rich had the go-ahead RBI single in that 6th inning.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers A 9 Evanston Outlaws 8 - Laramie scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th. Jaxson Gosar had the game-winning RBI single. Hardesty & J. Bailey had 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 13 Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 5 - the Rustlers scored 10 runs over 3 innings. Apodaca & Hamilton had 2 hits & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 13 Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 10 - the Rustlers scored 3 in the 7th to break the tie. Schrock's bunt single gave Gillette the lead. They took advantage of 17 walks

Final Score: Bozeman (MT) Bucks 7 Gillette Riders 4 - Bozeman built a 7-1 lead and held off the Riders. Craig had 1 hit & 2 RBIs for Gillette.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 13 Green River Knights 0 - the Jets scored all their runs in the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th innings. Kintzi had 2 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Alliance (NE) Spartans 10 Cheyenne Hawks 2 - the Spartans scored 5 runs in the 7th to pull away. Frogge had 2 hits & 1 RBI for the Hawks.
