Week 13 has arrived for Legion baseball teams around Wyoming. The 2025 season will have almost completed its third month. Gillette and Green River will host tournaments in the state this week. Both are from Thursday through Sunday. Other teams head to tourney action in Montana, Nevada, and Utah. A few more conference games are part of this week’s slate compared to the previous week, but tournament action dominates the schedule.

TUESDAY, JUNE 24:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 10 Jackson Giants 0 (conference game) - Partlow tossed a 2-hit shutout. Hecker 3 hits (3B) & 1 RBI. Partlow added 2 hits (2B) & 2 RBI at the plate.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 10 Jackson Giants 0 (conference game) - Gillette scored 5 runs in the 3rd and 4 more in the 4th to close it out early. Black and Hawk combined on a 2-hit shutout. Partlow had 2 hits & 4 RBIs. C. Schilling added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Wheatland Lobos 10 Sheridan Jets 0 (conference game) - the Lobos had three different innings with 3 runs scored. Schaffner and Raser homered, and Peralta added 2 hits & 3 RBIs for Wheatland.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 16 Wheatland Lobos 12 (conference game) - Trailing 10-5, the Jets exploded for 11 runs in the 7th inning. Ligocki had 2 hits & 3 RBIs, Gillis homered, and 3 more Sheridan players added 2 RBIs each. Raser had 2 hits (HR) & 3 RBIs for the Lobos.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers A 5 Douglas Cats 4 (conference game) - 2 runs in the 3rd was the difference for Laramie A. Tripp Looney had a 2-run HR, and Laramie took advantage of 4 errors.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers A 9 Douglas Cats 6 (conference game) - Laramie took an 8-3 lead in the 4th inning and got the road sweep. Looney and Jaymes Bailey had 3 hits & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Billings (MT) UD Expos 8 Powell Pioneers 3 - A 5-run 4th was the difference for the Expos. Solberg had 3 hits & 1 RBI for Powell.

Final Score: Billings UD Expos 11 Powell Pioneers 3 - The Expos jumped out 6-0. Diaz & Nuss had 2 hits & 1 RBI each for the Pioneers.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 4 Cody Cubs 2 (conference game) - Down 2-0, Riverton rallied with 4 runs in the 4th. Baker had a solo HR. The Raiders tied it and took the lead on 2 wild pitches. Spradlin added an RBI single. Maestas allowed just 2 runs, 1 earned, on 6 hits over 7 innings with 7 Ks and 1 walk.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 11 Cody Cubs 5 (conference game) - Riverton took the lead with 3 runs in the 4th and pulled away with a 5-run 6th inning. Cox had 2 hits (2B) & 2 RBIs. Baker added 2 hits & 1 RBI, and Martin contributed 1 double & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Laurel Dodgers 9 Lovell Mustangs 8 - The Dodgers jumped out 7-1 and held off the Mustangs' comeback attempt. Hedges had 2 hits & 3 RBIs for Lovell.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 8 Premier West Aces (Arvada, CO) 5 - Cheyenne took the lead with 4 runs in the 2nd and added 3 more for insurance. Coates had 3 hits & drove in 1 run.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 5 Premier West Aces 2 - 3 runs in the 3rd gave the Sixers the lead, and they added 2 more in the 5th. Horton had 1 hit & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Eagles 15 Torrington Tigers 6 (conference game) - The Eagles broke it open with 8 runs in the 4th inning. Nelson had 3 hits & 5 RBIs for Cheyenne. Mitchell added 2 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 12 Cheyenne Eagles 1 (conference game) - Torrington had a pair of 4-run innings to pull away. Hager & Greiman allowed 1 run on 5 hits. Hibben had 3 hits (3B) & 1 RBI, and Shields added 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers AA 9 Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) 3 - Schriner's 2-run single in the 4th pushed Laramie in front 5-1, and they added 4 more in the 6th. Herrera and Malone combined for 7 walks, 4 stolen bases, and 5 runs scored. Hesco allowed 3 runs, 1 earned, on 5 hits over 7 innings.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25:

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 6 Laramie Rangers AA 4 (conference game) - Hawks to the lead in the 5th with 3 runs. Gorman had the go-ahead 2-run 2B and finished with 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers AA 13 Cheyenne Hawks 3 (conference game) - Laramie took the lead with 5 runs in the 2nd, as they scored the final 13 runs of the game over the 5 innings. Herrera ended it with a 3-run triple and scored on a throwing error. He had 2 hits & 4 RBIs, and Aragon added 3 hits and 3 runs scored.
