Two teams will win a state championship during the second weekend in March 2025. The Class 1A and 2A girls’ basketball state tournaments will be in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center (FWC), Casper College (CC), and Natrona County High School (NC). Both defending champions will have a shot to repeat after qualifying for the state tournament. The defending champion in Class 1A is the Southeast Cyclones. The Tongue River Eagles are the defending champion in Class 2A.

WYOPREPS 1A-2A GIRLS BASKETBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE 2025

Day one action in 1A is at the Ford Wyoming Center. Day two is at Casper College. The consolation and third-place games are at Natrona County High School. The championship is at the Ford Wyoming Center on Saturday, March 8, 2025. It is the first of the four small school state championship games.

Final Score: (1W) Cokeville 65 (4E) Lusk 26 - Cokeville jumped out 19-4 in the first and never trailed. Barnes had 27 pts & 7 rebs.

Final Score: (2W) Burlington 59 (3E) Lingle-Ft. Laramie 46

Final Score: Upton 51 Lusk 37 – Tigers are eliminated

Final Score: Lingle-Ft. Laramie 51 Farson-Eden 34 – Pronghorns are eliminated

Final Score: Cokeville 39 Riverside 31 - semifinal

Final Score: Southeast 34 Burlington 24 - semifinal

SATURDAY, MARCH 8:

Final Score: Upton 43 Lingle-Ft. Laramie 33 – Consolation Trophy Game

Final Score: Burlington 50 Riverside 37 – 3rd Place Game

Final Score: Southeast 36 Cokeville 29 – Championship Game - Cyclones win back-to-back championships, winning 3 of the last 4 1A girls state championships. This is their 7th title in school history.
