Most ranked teams took care of business in Week 9 of prep basketball around Wyoming, especially in girls’ action. Only one girls’ team lost a game. Torrington fell at home to an out-of-state opponent and on the road at No. 2 Douglas. The rest of the teams held serve. Upsets were more prevalent in boys’ basketball, as ten boys’ teams in our poll suffered at least one loss. Laramie went 0-2 at two ranked conference foes, No. 1 Campbell County and third-ranked Sheridan. Thunder Basin, Star Valley, and Wyoming Indian were knocked off by unranked opponents in road games. Other boys’ teams fell to either another ranked team or an out-of-state foe.
