Lyman's Owen Hansen Signs for Hoops at Thiel College

Lyman senior Owen Hansen has committed to playing basketball at Thiel College in Pennsylvania. Hansen is a three-year varsity letter-winner for the Eagles. She has helped Lyman qualify for the 3A basketball state tournament during her sophomore and junior seasons.

So far, Hansen is averaging ten points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game in her senior season for the Eagles. They are 9-3 this season.

As a junior last year, Hansen averaged five points, three rebounds, and two steals per game. Lyman was 14-13 last season and 3-3 in the 3A Southwest Conference.

Hansen also played volleyball and was a 3A West all-conference selection in the 2024 season.
