
Brody Potter of Thermopolis Will Further His Basketball Career
Thermopolis senior Brody Potter has signed to play college basketball at Concordia University in Nebraska. Potter was a three-year starter and an all-state and two-time all-conference performer for the Bobcats. He led Thermopolis to its first state championship in 21 years last month. The Bobcats won the 2A state title with a 61-39 victory over Pine Bluffs. Potter scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the state championship win.
Potter led Thermopolis to a 25-4 record in the 2024-25 season. They won the 2A Northwest Conference and took third at the 2A West Regional Tournament. Potter averaged 13.3 points per game and shot 57 percent from the field, which tied for the best shooting percentage in Class 2A. He contributed 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.5 steals, and one block per game. Potter’s season-high was 24 points against Wright on Jan. 10, 2025.
Brody averaged 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in his junior year. He shot 51 percent from the floor. Thermopolis was 11-13 during the 2023-24 season in Class 3A. Potter earned all-conference honors in the 3A West.
As a sophomore in 2022-23, Potter chipped in 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for a Bobcats squad that finished that season at 4-20.

Concordia University, Nebraska, is in Seward, NE. The Bulldogs compete at the NAIA level of collegiate athletics and are members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
