Only the one event this week, but most teams start their spring season next week, weather-permitting.

Thermopolis junior Lilly Quintanilla, Buffalo senior Karly Davis, Tel Parry of Star Valley, and Wyoming Indian’s Ben Niedo, were selected based on their performances.

The final weekend is here for small school boys’ basketball teams in the 2026 season.

The Class 1A and 2A girls’ basketball state tournaments will be in Casper on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Three days to crown champions across 14 weight classes in divisions, girls, and three for the boys.

Overall, the rankings saw shuffling in most divisions, but only two teams rejoined their respective top fives.

Thermopolis sophomore Izzie Hetzel and Cokeville sophomore Joey Thomas were the winners based on last week’s performances. Previous weeks are not part of the decision.

Thanks to some losses by teams in the top five, 4A saw the most change compared to last week.
