Brandon Nimmo Promoted To Double-A Baseball

He's working his way up the ladder.

2011 Cheyenne East HS grad and former Cheyenne Post 6 baseball player Brandon Nimmo has received the call, to starting playing with the New York Mets 'AA' team in Binghampton, New York.

The 21-year old 2011 first round pick of the Mets, up until his 2014 promotion, has been with the single-A team in St. Lucie, Florida, where he had a .322 batting average, and he has led the Florida State League with an on base percentage of .448, and has hit 4 home runs.

The Mets 'AAA' team is in Las Vegas, Nevada.
