Cheyenne Central's Brinkley Lewis will pursue her diving career with the Wyoming Cowgirl program in Laramie. She is the defending 4A state champion in that event and rang up 427.5 points to win, after placing 2nd in the prelims. She has climbed the ladder in diving after a 4th place finish at State as a junior with 372.25 points, a 5th place finish as a sophomore with 353.2 and an 8th place finish as a freshman with 323.75 points.

Lewis is also an accomplished pole vaulter in track and field and is the two-time state champion in the indoor circuit. She cleared 11-6 to win the state title this past season and 10-8 to take the podium in her junior year. She also placed 3rd at the state indoor meet as a sophomore, clearing 10-0.

On the outdoor track season this season, Lewis won the Okie Blanchard meet in Cheyenne going 11-0, and won the Kelly Walsh Invite as she cleared 10-6. Last season at the 4A State Outdoor meet, she was 2nd at 10-6 and took 3rd at state as a sophomore, also at 10-6.
