Burlington Football Postgame Remarks

Burlington was the 1A 6-Man football runner-up in 2022 as they lost to Little Snake River in the title game. The Huskies won 9 games last season and are 5-1 this after a 73-28 road win over Kaycee on Friday.

This team has a formidable physical presence and they have a returning all-state player in Joe Bassett anchoring the defense. Quarterback Jordan Michaels is one of three returning all-conference selections and he's a dynamic player when running the football.

This team has all the ingredients to make another visit to the 6-Man championship game in November. We talked with Michaels and Bassett after the win over Kaycee about that game and the road ahead.
