
Four Invitationals Highlight Wyoming High School Spring Golf Week 2
The 2026 spring high school golf season cranks up with four events during Week 2. Thermopolis opened the spring season with the three-team Bobcat Invitational last week. Thermopolis swept the medalists' honors and team titles. Now, the rest of the state gets on the links. Cheyenne, Sheridan, Star Valley, and Worland all have one-day invites on Friday.
Here are the next spring events. The schedule and who is attending are subject to change.
April 10, 2026
Cheyenne Spring Invite at Airport G.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland, Scottsbluff (NE).
Wheatland's Haylee Nelson and Tate Nichols took the medalist honors. The Central girls and Kelly Walsh boys finished 1st in the team standings.
Kendrick Spring Invite at Kendrick G.C. in Sheridan (hosted by Big Horn & Tongue River) – Big Horn, Glenrock, Hulett, Sheridan JV, Sundance, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Wright, Upton.
Ruth Needham from Thermopolis and Easton Lewis of Tongue River were the medalists. Wright took 1st in the boys' division. The Sheridan JV had the only girls' team score.
Star Valley Spring Invite at Valli Vu G.C. in Afton – Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Pinedale, Rock Springs, Star Valley.
Tazlyn Wagner from Kemmerer was the girls' medalist. Deegan Hill of SV won on his home course on the 2nd playoff hole. The Evanston girls and Green River boys finished at the top of the team standings.
Worland Spring Invite at Green Hills G.C. – Buffalo, Campbell County, Cody, Lovell, Powell, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Worland.
Eliana Hopkin and Cade Peterson won the individual titles. The Cody girls and Campbell County boys took 1st in the team races.
Due to various factors, Lander did not make it to Worland, so they have a home dual against Riverton.

Girls' Scores = Tylynn McDonald (Riv) 79, Keigann Watson (Land) 91, Annika Stanley (Riv) 93.
Boys' Scores = William Oland (Land) 70, Isaiah Webb (Land) 74, Brody Taylor (Riv) 75, Tayten Jacks (Land) 75, Ritchie Gonzales (Land) 85, Peyton Young (Land) 92, Izayah Johnson (Land) 103, Zack Oldman (Land) 123, Christian Jensen (Land) 149.
