Cheyenne South finally played a softball game on Friday afternoon after a battle with the weather in the early spring.

The contest against Campbell County was the first in the history of the school and it's been a long time coming.

Campbell County had already played a few games so the experience showed right off the bat. The Camels had a 4 run 2nd inning and a 12 run 4th inning which put the Bison in a very tough spot.  Campbell County won it 21-1 and followed that up with a 3-2 win over Laramie on Saturday to get to 5-1 on the year.

South has a lot to look forward to and there's a long way to go in the 2021 season. Check out some of the video of that game on Friday from breezy Cheyenne.
