Campbell County's Nyomi Moore Has High Hopes in Outdoor Track

Nyomi Moore of Campbell County is pretty busy at outdoor track meets as she competes in four events. At the Buffalo track meet last week, she ran on the Camels 4x100 relay team which took first and she had a 2nd place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.05. In addition to those two events, Moore took 3rd in the 200 meters in 26.87 and went 4-9 in the high jump to take 6th.

In the indoor track season. Moore won the long jump at the state championship meet, ran on the state championship 4x200 relay, placed 2nd in the 55-meter dash at 7.4, and went 5 feet even to take 5th in the high jump.

Needless to say, she is a solid all-around athlete and we had a chance to chat about her efforts at the Buffalo track meet.
