Defending 3A Champion Cody Handles Worland on the Road

Cody will be challenged in the 3A football race this season and this group won the state championship a year ago. The team returns four all-state selections from 2020 and are 2-0 after a 35-21 win over Worland on Friday. The Broncs are solid on the line of scrimmage and ran the ball for 264 yards in that contest against Worland. Quarterback Drew Trotter had 4 rushing touchdowns in the game as Cody rang up 22 points in the 3rd quarter.

Worland has not had a winning season since 2009 but has qualified for the 3A playoffs for the last four years running. The Warriors did some damage on offense through the air with three touchdowns produced through the passing game. This team may in fact surprise some folks as the season progresses.
