How good has Cokeville been in football?  The last year the Panthers did not qualify for the playoffs was 1992. They have missed the post-season just twice since 1982 so they have been a model of consistency. Cokeville earned their first win of the season last week as they prevailed over Lyman 13-8. This will be the 5th year that Cokeville will play in 2A and easily could have opted for the 9-Man division.

Lyman has been more than formidable in the last 4 seasons with a pair of State Championships in 2A and finishing 2nd twice. The Eagles have a tradition of being rugged on defense and that group sets the tone for the rest of the team. They're 1-2 on the season after a loss to Malad, Idaho to start the season and a big win over Burns.

Cokeville is 1-1 after a season-opening loss to West Jefferson, Idaho, and will be at Mountain View this week. Lyman has an interesting game this week as they will host another rugged team in the Lovell Bulldogs.
