Cokeville senior Treyson Dayton has signed to play basketball in college at Dickinson State University in North Dakota.

Dayton was an all-conference selection during his senior season for the Panthers. He led the team with 9.9 points per game and led them in scoring in ten games. Dayton also averaged 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Cokeville finished last season with a record of 8-17 overall and 3-5 in the 1A Southwest Quadrant.

A four-year letter winner, Dayton averaged 10.5 points per game his junior season. He led the Panthers in the 2020-21 campaign with 4.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game. As a sophomore, Dayton averaged 10.6 points per game. He appeared in 15 games as a freshman and averaged 1.3 points per game.

Dayton has also played football and participated in track and field at Cokeville High School. Treyson was an all-state and two-time all-conference player in football. He helped the Panthers to an overall record of 5-4 and a 4-3 mark in the 2A West Conference. Cokeville lost a seven-point game in the first round of the playoffs at Torrington.

Dickinson State University is in Dickinson, ND. The Blue Hawks compete at the NAIA level of collegiate athletics.
