It’s on to the second day of our fan-voted 2020 girls’ 3A/4A state tournament. This means semifinal and consolation action.

Looking at the results of Day 1 voting in Class 3A, Douglas, Lander, and Mountain View join Lyman in the semifinals, while the other four will play in consolation action. The closest voting was in the Lander-Rawlins game, but the Tigers prevailed by a margin of 14 percent.

In Class 4A, it will be Natrona County, Thunder Basin, and Cheyenne East advancing to the semis, where they join Cheyenne Central. The Fillies had a tight margin over cross-town rival Kelly Walsh but came out on top in a close vote, 52 percent to 48 percent. The margin was just over 50 votes.
