Olsen accomplished the feat in only 44 career games. Her career scoring average is 22.9 points per game through Jan. 28, 2023.

The sophomore has helped the Bearcats to a 15-1 record and a unanimous No. 1 ranking in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Girls Basketball Poll. She is averaging 22.3 points, 2.4 assists, and 3.9 steals per game this season.

Olsen burst onto the scene as a freshman last year and scored 652 points, which was an average of 23.3 points per game. That included a state-best, single-game high of 44 points against Burns on Feb. 5, 2022. She shot 51 percent from the field and 30 percent beyond the arc in the 2021-22 season. Olsen added 3.8 steals per contest. Her efforts helped Douglas win the Class 3A girls’ basketball state championship last March and earned all-state in her first season of high school basketball.

Congratulations, Lauren!
