Douglas' Travis Tigert Will Play Soccer for the Thunderbirds

Travis Tigert from Douglas High School recently signed to continue his soccer career with the new men’s program at Casper College.

Tigert was a two-time All-Conference selection as a midfielder for the Bearcats in the 3A East Conference.

He helped Douglas to an appearance in the Class 3A state tournament during Tigert’s junior year of 2018. The Bearcats finished last season with an overall record of 3-13-1 and a 1-5-1-1 conference mark. Douglas had a tough state tournament with a 0-2 record.

In 2018, Tigert helped the Bearcats to a 5-11-1 mark.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tigert missed his senior season. He also played basketball in high school.

The Casper College Thunderbirds are starting a new men’s soccer program this fall (2020). Ben McArthur is the head coach.
