The latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Boys Basketball Poll has a new No. 1 in Class 4A for the second consecutive week.

There are three new teams this week’s rankings and a tie in Class 1A.

Kelly Walsh moved up one spot to second with five first-place votes. Sheridan fell from first to third. Despite a loss last week, Cheyenne East held onto the No. 4 spot. Riverton is tied for fifth for the second straight week, only this time it’s with Cheyenne Central.

The top two teams in 1A are unanimous choices. Upton and Dubois earned all the first and second-place votes, respectively. Saratoga moved back up to third. Cokeville fell a spot but stayed in the top five in a tie for fourth with Farson-Eden. The Pronghorns knocked off the Panthers last week and went back into the top five.

Class 2A’s top four are the same as a week ago. Pine Bluffs and Tongue River are still first and second and the only two teams that earned votes for those two spots. Rocky Mountain and Wind River held onto third and fourth. The Grizzlies kept their ranking despite a loss last week. The Cougars haven’t played in a couple of weeks because of a Covid stoppage (until Tuesday night). Greybull got back into the rankings. Their win over Rocky Mountain pushed the Buffs to fifth. Big Horn fell from the poll, but the Rams were one of seven other teams that received votes.

Class 3A has the same teams in the same order as last week. Douglas earned 16 of the 20 first-place votes. Worland received the other four votes for first. The Warriors are still second. Rawlins, Buffalo, and Lyman round out the top five.
