The Farson Eden boys basketball program has come a long, long way after posting just 2 wins combined in the 2011-12 & 2012-13 seasons. Last year, the Pronghorns won the 1A state title with a buzzer-beater and this year, they made a return appearance in the state championship game. In the quarterfinal round, Farson-Eden ground out a 40-35 win over Lingle-Fort Laramie, winning that game despite going 3-14 from the 3 point line. Colby Jones had 13 in that contest with Trevor Jones chipping in 11. In the semi-final round, the Pronghorns upset tournament favorite Encampment 42-39. Trevor Jones had a great game with 19 points and Parker Clawson was solid too with 16.

That victory earned them a shot at Saratoga in the 1A Final and the Pronghorns were defeated 52-42. Zander Reed had a sharp game for Farson with 19 points but it was a tough night from the land of 3, going 3-18. For the season. The Pronghorns posted a record of 18-9 as Parker Clawson was named all-state. He averaged 11 points a game while Carson Jones was picked to that all-state team too with a team-leading 68 assists. Colby Jones was an all-conference pick, throwing in 9 points a game. The future looks bright for Farson-Eden as they had just one senior on this year's team.
