The Farson Eden girls basketball team didn't have a great regular season by any stretch but they fought their way into the state tournament with a strong performance at the 1Q West regional tournament. First off, the Pronghorns beat the #1 seed at the regional tourney, Meeteetse 43-39 then lost to Little Snake River 56-26. In a loser-out game, Farson punched their ticket to state with a 56-40 win over Burlington and then lost to Saratoga in the 3rd place game 33-29.

At the state tournament, Farson-Eden as a #4 seed gave Kaycee all they could handle in the quarterfinal round but lost 39-32 and Kaycee was a #1 seed. Ighlee Thoren led the way with 11 and Tyra Thoren added 10. The Pronghorns really hurt themselves at the free-throw line, going 9-22.

In the consolation round, Farson played yet another close game but came out on the losing end to Little Snake River 43-39. Tyra Thoren had a double-double in that game with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Shelby Madsen had 8 points and 6 rebounds. The Pronghorns finished the year 9-18 and did have an all-state player in Ighlee Thoren who averaged 12 points a game. Looking ahead, Farson-Eden will need to replace 4 seniors but Ighlee Thoren returns as a senior and Tyra Thoren returns as a junior
