Wyoming senior center Adam Waddell has been named the Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games through December 11.

This is the first career weekly accolade for Waddell.

Waddell scored all 17 of his points in the second half while helping Wyoming snap a 23-game road losing streak with a 65-54 win at Colorado last week.

After missing his lone field goal attempt in a first half that ended with the score tied at 30-30, Waddell went 5-of-6 from the field and 7-of-9 from the free throw line over the final 20 minutes.

The Cody, Wyo., native also grabbed five rebounds and blocked a shot while committing no turnovers in a season-high 31 minutes of action.

The victory, Wyoming's first on an opponent's home court since Feb. 28, 2009, pushed the Pokes' win streak to seven games and ended Colorado's 27-game non-conference win streak at the Coors Event Center.
