Campbell County senior Caden Morton has signed to swim at Morningside College in Iowa.

Morton was a four-time state qualifier and four-year letterman for the Camels.

At the 2021 Class 4A Swimming and Diving State Championships, Morton finished third in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:03.75. He also took third place in the 100 breaststroke race in 1:02.47. Morton also swam on the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays that made the consolation finals at the state meet.

As a junior in 2020, Morton came in third place in the 200 IM. He also helped the Campbell County 200 freestyle relay to a runner-up finish and added an eighth-place result in the 100 breaststroke race.

In Caden’s sophomore season, he was fifth in the 200 IM and fourth in the 100 breaststroke events.

Morningside College is located in Sioux City, IA. The Mustangs compete at the NAIA level of collegiate athletics and are part of the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
