Jackson's Taya McClennen Signs with Middlebury College for Soccer

Taya McClennen is one of the finest soccer players in the state and her skills have lifted the Jackson program to new heights in the last 4 years. She recently signed a letter of intent for Middlebury College in Vermont to continue her career.

McClennen is a rare 3-time All-State selection in 4A with her senior season still to go. As a freshman, she rang up a whopping 26 goals as the Broncs took 3rd at the 2021 State Tournament. In her sophomore season, she found the net 14 times as the team placed 3rd again at State and last season, McClennen had 20 goals Jackson placed 2nd at the 4A State Tournament.

This season, she has 5 goals, and Jackson as a team has been averaging over 4 goals per match. Middlebury College is a Division III institution that competes in the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
