Glenrock Girls Prevail in Overtime Vs. Lusk
The Glenrock girls basketball team has their sights set on a state tournament berth which would be their first since 2009. The Herders are 11-7 overall and earned a split over the weekend with a 46-39 overtime win over Lusk and a 55-41 road loss to Pine Bluffs.
In that game vs, Lusk, junior Ann-Marie Young had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Glenrock and so far this season, she had been averaging 12 points and 8 boards per game. Skylar Hartford had a strong game for the Herders with 12 with Adelaide Williams netting 7.
It's been a tough year for Lusk as they sit at 1-15 on the year. They were led in scoring on Friday by Lily Krueger with 11 with Gracie ZumBrunnen chipping in 10.
We have a short video of that game in Glenrock along with a few photos of the contest. Enjoy!
