Wyoming High School Spring Golf Scoreboard for May 8-9, 2026

The Spring Golf season in Wyoming for prep teams is nearly done. Class 2A squads will finish with their spring conference championships in Kemmerer. That is a two-day competition. Lander and Wheatland host the other two events, and those are capped, meaning only a limited number of teams can participate. That leads to several schools not playing this week.

Here are the next spring events. The schedule and which teams attend are subject to change.

May 8, 2026

2A Spring Conference Championships at Fossil Island G.C. – Arapahoe Charter, Big Horn, Hulett, Kemmerer, Moorcroft, Sundance, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

On their home course, Kemmerer's Tazlyn Wagner and Trevan Benson have the clubhouse lead after the first round. The Thermopolis girls and Wright boys lead the team race with one round to go.

Lander Spring Invite at Lander G.C. – Buffalo, Cody, Evanston, Glenrock, Jackson, Lander, Lovell, Pinedale, Powell, Star Valley, Worland.

Addison Bettinger from Buffalo and Daltyn Decora from Star Valley were the medalists. Star Valley swept both team titles.

Wheatland Spring Invite at Wheatland G.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Douglas, Laramie, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland.

Haylie Nelson and Tate Nichols won on their home course. The Central girls and Wheatland boys finished first in the team standings.

May 9, 2026

2A Spring Conference Championships at Fossil Island G.C. – Big Horn, Hulett, Kemmerer, Moorcroft, Sundance, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

The medalists were Kemmerer sophomores, Tazlyn Wagner and Trevan Benson. Wagner won by 26 shots, and Benson won by 17 shots. The Thermopolis girls took 1st by 75 strokes. Wright won the boys' team crown by 31 shots.
