Green River’s Ashelynn Birch Signs with USU-Eastern
Green River basketball star Ashelynn Birch will be taking her skills to Utah State University-Eastern in the fall. In her senior season, Birch averaged 13.9 points per game as well as 9 rebounds per game. She shot a remarkable 54% from the floor and earned all-state designation in 4A. Green River won 21 games this past season and that was their highest win total for a season since 1996.
In Birch's junior season, she averaged a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds per game.
