Farson-Eden senior Ighlee Thoren has become the latest Wyoming prep basketball player to surpass 1,000 career points.

Thoren accomplished the feat with a step-back three-pointer from the right-wing on her home-court. It happened during the Pronghorns’ upset of fourth-ranked H.E.M., 33-28. Here’s what it looked like, courtesy of the NFHS Network.

Thoren leads Farson-Eden in scoring, assists, and steals and ranks in the top 10 of her conference in all three statistical categories. She is averaging 12.5 points per game. The senior also contributes 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.8 steals per game. Thoren is shooting 32 percent from the field this season and 25 percent from beyond the arc.

Farson-Eden celebrated Ighlee’s achievement after the game. These photos are courtesy of Christine Thoren.

WyoPreps recently visited with Thoren and a couple of her teammates as part of an in-season update on the Farson-Eden girls’ basketball team. You can watch what Ighlee and her teammates had to say about their season in the video.

The Pronghorns have won five of their last seven games. Farson-Eden’s next game takes them to Baggs, WY, for a 1A Southwest Conference Quadrant game against Little Snake River on Friday.
