Jaden Gipfert of Burns Signs with Iowa Lakes in Two Sports

Burns multi-sport athlete Jaden Gipfert will be attending Iowa Lakes Community College in Esterville for both volleyball and basketball. In her senior season, in volleyball, Gipfert recorded over 160 kills and showed some serious versatility on the court.

She was also a four-year varsity player for the Broncs as she averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds per game this past season. In the world of specialized sports at the college level, it's rare, but not unheard of for an athlete to compete in multiple activities.

Iowa Lakes plays in the Iowa Community College Athletic Association and the Laker basketball team posted a record of 8-12 this last season while the volleyball team went 2-20
