Kyle Meinecke of Sheridan Enjoying Productive Track Season

Sheridan multi-sport athlete Kyle Meinecke has been a star on the football field and now is shining on the outdoor track circuit. He competes in the hurdle and events and in the triple jump so he is busy at any given meet. At the Dan Hansen Meet in Sheridan on Saturday, Meinecke won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.86. He sat out the 300 hurdles but was active in the triple jump as he took 3rd with a leap of 40 feet 2 inches.

Meinecke was a 2nd team all-state football player for the Broncs in 2020 with 6 touchdown grabs. He's on his way to Dickinson State in the fall to join the Blue Hawks, football squad. We caught up with him after his 100-meter hurdle victory in Sheridan and it's been so far so good.
